Moringa For Love’s Scholarships Program cultivates future leaders from developing countries, one person at a time. Moringa For Love’s scholarship sponsors tuition and expenses for high school and college study for students with excellent academic records in several developing countries, including El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Myanmar, Taiwan, and China.
Each students receives scholarship between US $600 ~ $1500 a year. The basic requirements are
· Academic excellence
· Proof of financial need for scholarship
· Monthly volunteer activities
· Periodic correspondence with Moringa For Love’s volunteers. Most volunteers are retired teachers and/or professionals with the goal of ongoing encouragement and guidance for our scholarship students.
Our first scholarship student in Haiti started in 2015, Dr. Medjie Piron, graduated from a prestigious medical school in December 2020. Dr. Piron was in our scholarship program between 2015 and 2020. We are very proud of her academic achievement, and we are even more proud of her giving back and avid volunteering activities in her community!!! We are just as proud with several of our Haiti’s scholarship students: Sindy, Madeline, Marie-Michelle, Sania and Medjie. Even with Haiti’s civil unrest, our scholarship students organized a charity event in December 2020, bringing rice, cooking oil, and 1400 gallons of water to a temporary shelter. This shelter was a football field prior to the pandemic; sadly, it is temporary homes to over 770 people today. Kindly see our Facebook post dated 12/17/2020 for more info, including photos.
Kindly support our scholarship program and continue to develop tomorrow's leaders today from developing countries. In addition to monetary support, our Moringa For Love's dedicated volunteers provide ongoing mentoring, coaching and encouragement for these students. Our volunteer activity requirement teaches these students about the power of giving back without asking anything in return.
Please donate and support Moringa For Love's scholarship program to cultivate young talent and future leaders from developing countries, one person at a time..
Latest Update:
